Why I am Starting a Blog Called "Get Ahead Learning Talks About..."

www.GetAheadLearning.net Hello Teachers!     Let me be clear.  I LOVE my job teaching science at a public high school.  Why?   Each year has it own unique feel.   Each day is different from the last.  The camaraderie amongst collogues, the autonomy allowed within your own classroom, the....SCHEDULE!  Witnessing the development and evolution of students as they grow into fine young adults.  The list goes on and on.       From time to time  I and others will discuss the joys of teaching.  I can't have a Get Ahead Learning Talks About...  blog and exclude the good stuff!  However, the love of the game and the bright side of it all is not why I am pursuing this blogging adventure.  At least, it's not my immediate inspiration.  Rather, I wanted a creative , honest , and quite frankly, a  therapeutic outlet to discuss many of the other this-n-that's of the teaching pr...
